Does merging reduce quality?
No. Merging just copies each page object from the source files into the new file as-is — nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so text and image sharpness stay identical to the originals.
Can I control the order?
Yes — after importing, use the up/down arrows in the file list to reorder files. The final PDF follows that top-to-bottom order.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
No. An encrypted PDF can't be read locally in the browser, so importing one will fail with an error — remove the password protection with another tool first, then merge.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Merging runs entirely in your browser — file content is never sent to any server, and nothing is kept once you close the page.
