How do I convert a PDF to images?
Drag a PDF file (or click "choose file") into the import area, just like importing a photo. Each page is automatically split into its own image, added to the batch alongside any other photos you've imported — no separate "convert" step needed before that.
What image format and quality do the pages come out as?
Each page is rendered as a lossless PNG at roughly 144 DPI (2x the PDF's native 72-point resolution) — sharp enough for on-screen reading and everyday printing, including scanned text documents. From there you can compress, resize, or convert it to another format using the same batch tools as any imported photo.
Can I edit the resulting images — crop, compress, add a watermark?
Yes — once a PDF's pages become images in the batch, they're treated exactly like any other imported photo. Crop, resize, compress, format conversion, and watermarking all work on them the same way.
Does this work with password-protected or scanned PDFs?
Password-protected PDFs aren't supported — import will fail with a clear error rather than silently producing a blank page. Scanned PDFs work fine for this conversion (each scanned page is itself already an image inside the PDF, so rendering it out is straightforward) — it's text extraction from scanned PDFs that isn't supported, not this image conversion.
