Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Splitting just copies page objects from the original into new files as-is — nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so quality stays identical to the source.
How do I split by specific pages?
Type something like "1-3,5,7-9" into the page range field — each comma-separated segment becomes its own PDF file. Leave it blank to split every page into a separate file by default.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
No. An encrypted PDF can't be read locally in the browser, so importing one will fail with an error — remove the password protection with another tool first, then split.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser — file content is never sent to any server, and nothing is kept once you close the page.
