Does the QR code expire or stop working?
No. This generates a static QR code — the content is encoded directly into the pattern itself, with no server relaying it. As long as the image isn't damaged, it stays valid indefinitely, with none of the scan-count limits or expiration dates that third-party short-link services often impose.
Can I use any colors? Will it still scan?
You can pick any foreground and background pair, but the foreground needs to be clearly darker than the background — QR scanning relies on that contrast, and if the two colors are too close in brightness, a scanner can fail to read it even if the hues differ. Plain black-on-white is the safest default; if you customize the colors, test with an actual phone camera afterward.
Which error-correction level should I pick?
Medium is plenty for sharing a URL or text day-to-day. If the code will be printed somewhere prone to smudging or partial obstruction — packaging, outdoor signage — or if you're planning to overlay a logo in the center, pick Quartile or High. Higher levels tolerate more missing data, at the cost of a denser pattern that needs to be scanned from a bit closer.
Is my content uploaded or logged anywhere?
