1:1 square still covers most social feed grids and marketplace thumbnails. 4:3 and 3:2 match typical camera sensor output, good for general photo galleries. 16:9 fits video thumbnails and wide banners. 9:16 is the vertical ratio for Stories/Reels/Shorts-style formats. If none of the presets match what a platform actually asks for, the custom ratio field takes any width:height pair.
Fixed ratio presets crop from the center. To control the framing, choose Free crop and drag or resize the crop frame in the preview. Check the framing before exporting, especially when the subject is close to an edge.
Yes. The main settings apply to the batch. To customize one photo, open Manage image queue, choose that photo and select Edit current image only. Set its ratio or free crop frame; its individual settings take priority when you export. Apply current settings to all replaces individual settings, with Undo available.
